We loved making things. We didn't love everything it took to make them.
We spent over a decade in manufacturing, and we loved it — the craft, the machines, the satisfaction of building something real. What we didn't love was all the friction around the work: the spreadsheets duct-taped to processes, the data trapped on the floor, the systems that fought you instead of helping. So we went and learned to fix it, switching our careers to software engineering to build quality management and traceability systems for regulated industries.
sketchbrew is what came out of that: technology built by people who know what a production line demands and what it takes to keep quality systems compliant and audit-ready. We stay deliberately small, which means the people you meet are the people who do the work — no account managers, no juniors on your dime, just straight answers and software that ships.
